Much of the funds to operate our camps and programs comes from donations from like-minded individuals and churches. Our missionaries are 100% supported by donations. At any given time, we also have one or more projects going on to restore and improve the camp property. Donations make all of this possible. Donations can be sent to:

Serve

There are many volunteer opportunities at Camp Ozone. From mowing grass, to clearing brush, to kitchen help, there are many jobs that need to be done. We are always in particular need of volunteers with building skills and experience. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us!

We also need full time missionaries. If you feel a call to that area, we would love to talk to you further!

Pray

We need your prayers. Pray for the health of our staff, for our marriages and children. Pray for the campers that come here to hear God’s Word. To best pray for us, you need to be connected! You can join our group on Facebook, CBM Camp Ozone, for regular updates. You can also join our e-mail list.

Send kids to Camp!

We are looking for campers! If you have a child you would like to register for camp, you can do so in the spring. We also provide scholarships for many children. If you would like to scholarship a particular child, or give a general donation to the scholarship fund, please send your donation with a note . 

Summer Staff

Camp ministry is tough. It’s tiring work, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But as our summer staff alumni will tell you, it’s worth it! There’s nothing as rewarding as sharing God’s love with others. Summer camp is a unique opportunity for kids and teens to leave behind the stress of ordinary life and spend a week experiencing God’s love and having a lot of fun in His creation. We’re looking for ordinary young adults and teenagers who want to serve God’s extraordinary purpose by sharing His love with campers and helping them have the best week of their summer.

A Counselor’s Responsibilities:

Safety.

• • Counselors chaperone their campers, make sure they eat and stay hydrated, get sleep, and generally feel safe during their week at camp.
• Gospel.
  • Each day, counselors lead cabin small group discussions, devotionals, prayer times, attend chapel & mission time alongside campers. Along with their co-counselor, they will present the Gospel one-on-one to the members of their cabin
• Fun
  • Counselors will participate in group games with their campers and enjoy free time activities with them. They will also facilitate various elective activities and participate in skits and music.

Camp’s Responsibilities:

• Training
  • Our training week will include sessions on our policies and procedures, how to share the Gospel, how to work with different age groups, and more.
• Staff Care
  • Counselors receive daily breaks. They participate in staff Bible studies throughout the week. Each camp week starts with a staff meeting and ends with a debriefing meeting. There is no work on Saturdays so that staff can rest. Everyone is encouraged to spend their day off at home if possible.
• Financial Gift/Aid in Support Raising
  • Camp Ozone is a not-for-profit ministry but we love to provide our summer staff with a small financial gift at the end of each camp week they serve with us. If this gift is not enough to cover their financial needs for the summer, we encourage them to raise support for their summer mission work. Ozone’s full time staff will gladly provide advice and encouragement to summer staff who choose to do this.

Servant Leaders

The Servant Leader program is for teenagers entering 9th-10th grade who want to grow in their walk with God through serving others and learning more about him. While exceptions can be made for students a bit older or younger, I ask that students who have completed 10th grade or higher first consider serving with us as junior counselors.

The work Servant Leaders (SLs) do is crucial to keep camp running. Servant Leaders will serve in the kitchen, snack shack, grounds maintenance, janitorial work, and more. You may also be asked to pray for a group, help lead devotions, or share your testimony.

This summer there is NO FEE as it is a short summer and the program is still getting started. But in the future as we grow, we will ask that a reduced camper fee be paid for each Servant Leader to help cover the costs of food, t-shirts, and keeping camp running.
