Camps

Camps

Children’s Bible Ministries offers parents two options for their children to experience the wonder of camp!  Day camp, for ages 6-9, allows younger children to enjoy the camp experience while still returning home each evening.  Overnight camp, for ages ranging from 8-13, is an incredible 5 day adventure allowing children to stay in a cabin group of similar age and gender, under the supervision and counsel of carefully selected and trained staff.

Camp Ozone emphasizes Bible teaching and missions with life and faith principles.  Campers will enjoy outdoor education, hiking, fishing, boating, riflery, organized games, wildlife, great food and more!

Correspondence

Camp Ozone offers the Bible Mailbox Club to children in Kindergarten – 8th grade.  These lessons allow children to participate in home Bible study while corresponding with camp staff by mail throughout the year. Each lesson allows your child to earn a discount of $5 towards a week of summer camp!  Beginning each fall and continuing through the spring of the following year, children work to complete a series ranging from 8-12 lessons.

Classes

The mission staff at Camp Ozone minister to students and families throughout the school year by offering a variety of services to our area.

ROOTS outdoor education: This is a full-day field trip offered to public, private or homeschool groups and taught onsite at Camp Ozone.  Our outdoor classroom brings children face to face with nature and life lessons.  ROOTS is a character-driven outdoor educational ministry.  Our purpose is to help children DISCOVER an appreciation for the design of nature in line with the TN Academic Standards, DEEPEN their understanding of native and non-native wildlife and DEVELOP communication, trust, faith and leadership skills through team building activities.

Released Time Bible Education:  Camp Ozone is currently praying and seeking opportunities to begin this program in our local communities.  Released Time offers parents the opportunity to voluntarily enroll their child in monthly Bible classes taught during the day at a location nearby their school.  Three key elements that allow this program to continue with Constitutional integrity are 1) Voluntary enrollment 2) Classes held off of school campus 3) No public funds are used for the program.  Nationally, CBM currently reaches nearly 20,000 students in 9 states through this program.

Christian School Chapel: Missionaries are available to lead chapel and special teaching opportunities at your child’s Christian school.

Conferences

When the property and facilities are not in use for sponsored events, Camp Ozone is available to host guest groups. Churches and like-minded groups and organizations may request a reservation form.  Groups must agree to the standards and code of conduct while on site. The missionary staff requests an opportunity to share the mission and ministries of CBM.

* Camp Ozone is not currently available for hosting weddings.
